I still like the idea that Jeepdaddy had for a once a month ride in Ohio I started with a ride down in tar hollow.
who's ready to pick up and organize February's Ohio ride?

Edit:

Southington even open ? Feb a bad month especially in northern ohio, id say be hard to find a place other than a local spot and weather would play a major part in it

Southington runs first weekend ov every month all year long. Southington is pretty flat with the exception of the rocky area and a few hills here and there. Would be a safe bet no matter what weather is like, but it may not be all that exciting to most, and it's a good haul for us southern folks.

I'm not doing wellsville in the kia, but it can be doable but I think it's better saved for good weather as far as this "tour" goes.

Southington makes logical sense to me becuase no matter how bad weather is, it will be pretty safe and doable, and they are open.

Places like heiney and clay valley, bills and wellsville frozen would suck!

I agree weather is going to play havoc on a lot of places..... Southington makes good sense to me....Aren't there some forum members that live closer up there? Maybe even some who have been there often enough to trail guide?

Yes there are a few. It's been awhile but bill and myself have been up there a couple times too.

I don't like the idea of the drive for what they offer but if you get Lola to jason, you could pick her up in the way. ;)

I'm game for whatever is decided. I'd offer to lead one month's ride, but my extent of off-roading outside of following a group around Tar Hollow includes that one time I jumped the curb turning into a parking space at the local Chinese Buffet on Christmas Day.
