I'm still planning to stop down to bs like I did on diablo. No wheeling though.

That's actually not a bad idea. Maybe I'll hop on the bike and run out for a bit. Should be a nice day for a ride.

Anyone is welcome to come down and hangout. There is usually always someone to chat with.

It's nearly here. Got some small prep work to finish up and do some final setup, but we are ready. Hopefully I get a chance to do a once over on the sidetrack, but if not we'll see how she holds.......Gonna be some good times.

Just realized that Roseville is having an October fest tomorrow. So they close main from 1st to 2nd Street (gas station).

This shouldn't effect anyone hopefully but if you drove thru Roseville from the north side it could be an issue.... The solution is to turn on Athens rd from 93 and therefore come up main street from South end. Or take Athens rd to Rider rd and go that route (which is tighter) .

Thanks to everyone who attended or helped out. We had over 80 paid admissions. It was clearly another successful year. I hope everyone had a good time and was able to enjoy their selves.

--recap--
  • Lots showed up
  • many participated in mini-events, many just trail rode
  • Cherokee (Rayner) won Blind driver
  • Cherokee (May) won time trial
  • Zach won smooth operator. He couldn't get his girl passenger wet, not even a drop. (big surprise with the automatic ;)
  • 3 of us tried and made it up the JAKE from complete start to finish, no winching. So conditions were definitely prime.
  • Lots of good wheeling was had.

I'll try to collect some pictures and post them up in the next week or so. Unfortunately I didn't get to trail any until Sunday, so I'd be happy to see some pictures/videos. Feel free to post stories and or pictures to this thread.

Had a good time sat even though i wheeled like a pussy so i wouldnt break anything, man there seemed like more than 80 rigs there, it was packed on some trails, kept getting seperated from my group cause of people cutting in and then cutting off on different trails but i still had fun, good to see some people out there i hadnt seen in a long time. The time trial was epic, 3 wheel and two wheel action. Zach rolling it and troy playing pinball off the trees and the dude who won beating the snot outta that jeep, not to mention hemmers play by play commentary, haha. Im ready to hit it again but much harder this time, wheeling like a pussy is no fun, thanks to heineys and staff for another great successful event

Our group had a good time with minimal breakage i broke my pitman arm off my steering box and josey broke a lower control arm off his front axle on lefty. Other than that traction was amazing lol.
