It's no secret that I've destroyed 3 th350s now. One by incorrect mounts, one pump gear, and I have no idea what's up with this stuttering bastard. I cannot fit a longer trans in, so I have to stay with the th350. The mount issue is fixed. Every trans if put in has no known history, so they could all have been from the 80s with 300k on them. Sooo.

Who knows a good shop that can build me a stout one. I'll deliver or ship if needed, but I want it strong and I don't want to pull it out again. My trans guy was the best around, but his diabetes killed his eye sight, and I've heard his quality went to shit.

*the dime*

I rebuilt a 700r4 and a 400 once, they are pretty simple, but i dont know what "building" one takes.

I have heard that there are some parts from a 400 that will fit in a 350 that will make them stronger, but cooling is the key to a long life. I have run an additional cooler and inline filter, cheap insurance

I've heard good things about HardShift transmissions in Johnstown.

It's probably a couple hours from you but Buckeye Transmissions in Hillsboro, OH is a good place and reasonably priced. All of the local farmers (usually super picky) and performance guys swear by them. The shop is literally an old barn sitting behind a farm house but they do everything from stock rebuilds to hi-po diesel trucks, drag cars, pulling trucks, etc.....

Call Caitlyn, one tough tranny there. Lol. But on a serious note. Pretty sure severance transmission in somerset can hook ya up, they do good work and a family run business, when one of my toe rigs tranny goes they will get the call 740 743 2100

Pickaway transmission in Circleville. Brad Greno is his name. That's who built my 350 turbo.
