So this is a photo of what standing behind a product looks like.

I purchased a superwinch 3500 for the wildcat in june. In August I managed to suck the cable behind the drum which tore up the cable. I replaced the cable with a ripe and first time I used it, it dropped behind the drum again but I caught it before it hurt the rope. I noticed a large chunk of rubber sticking out between the drum and motor housing. So I contacted superwinch to ask about a replacement part via email. Couple days ago they said they would send one out to me. Today it showed up.

The damage was my fualt, I told them it was and they still shipped this free of charge. This is the 2nd superwinch I've purchased and will not be the last.Image

Wow! Good to hear! Although some will say that standing behind their product may not cut it if you're stuck on the trail.

This would explain the issues.
I removed my rope to install on replacement winch and found busted drum. I think it broke when the cable got.pulled between it and the motor.

I replaced cable with rope while installed, and replaced the seal by pulling motor off, never removed drum or gear box.

New winch came last week and is now installed. I think I'll purchase a new drum and another rope and see if I can get a second winch working for the rear
