I know exactly what yard you're talking about and I slow down and try to look over the wall as best as I can every time.

There are a couple of small Yards here around Lancaster that are not listed in the phone book and they never seem to be open when I Drive by that I would like to get into and check out

I have always had the idea of opening at yard that specializes in oddball and 4x4 .

I was at crispens today. It did not impress me, I doubt I go back. I was told of a place that is every gearheads dream, so I had to check it out. It was. My God I wanted to move in. Thousands of cars, hundreds of squares. All woven and placed throughout this huge woods. I've never seen so many one ton axles. 205s galore. He will be getting a lot of my money. Great, great prices.

Where is that place?

I've been to crispins once. I don't mind assholes or yards that don't know what they have. It was 09 when I went. They just take the decent cars that people scrap and sit in the field, then you gotta walk around and see if they have what you want. I paid $20 for two cherokee front axles with wheel bearings then.

I like those types of yards just for walking around and seeing what's there, not necessarily for purchasing things.

Is that still how they work?

Crisps was like that. "Yea I have two of those 205s" One was a 203, the other was a 208. Dueces dipshit.

The second place, he knew wtf he had. He told me the price on a kingpin 60 14b axles with 457 gears and I tried to good a way to get them in my civic. Sorry boys, this will remain my secret. But these places exist!

Usually if I'm at a yard I'm looking for something stupid like a Dodge omni bumper end cap, or a toyota tercel wagon 4wd shift button. Yards like Crispins is the type oh yard that usually has that stupid uncommon stuff.
