Worked better then I thought it would. His drill was old but pulled the car fine, I bet a fancy new drill with more power would really go fast. I've used some new Milwaukee that are crazy....

Ive always thought about a "jumper cable" type temp winch .... But this drill power one makes a lot more sense to me now.

My winch is hard wired to my van with quick disconnects which is great if the van was the only thing wver hooked to it.

The drill winch woyld be great.

No I haven't heard about a chainsaw winch.... Google revealed this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B10Io7MLp1Y

What a contraption!!! :O

Interestingly this was on the "similar videos:"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPVsDhMonR0

That second video seems super slow and extremely dangerous.....lol.

Those are cool, and much cleaner then that first one I posted.... lol. I guess those would make sense in the logging world back in the day where you have tons of chainsaws.

Where's everybody at this winter and what's everybody doing? Seems like this is usually the most active time of year on this forum but you dudes are being too damn quiet.

I'm on the farm prepping for a storm. I don't like working on dirty stuff... Be easier to break apart if it doesn't sell.... Considering buying a JK axle if it sells. So I'd say I lost my mind. Image
