I was really surprised how well mine was climbing at Windrock. It only spun the tires once. There was a harder section I would've liked to hit but not without rocker guards and a better skid plate.

I think skid plate and guards/tree kickers so you dont worry so much about it and you will be very suprised what itll do.

Mines beat to shit becuase i dont care about beat and broken panels but some protection would go a long ways. Polaris rangers have the stupidest giant plastic rockers ever.

My buddy has an older ranger and i thought foruare my sport would leave it in the dust but it kept up fine out in the woods running the same crazy trails.

It really just depends on how far you feel like pushing it

With low range and the CVT these things will crawl around all day long. I don't have any idea what the final crawl ratio is but it is definitely a lot better then what my Bronco has.

If it wasnt for overland type trips id just sell the bii

I dont doubt they will "crawl." You just cant deny that they were NOT really built for it.... Its kinda like off roading a Mower, it CAN be done. LOL

I never liked the CVTs for low throttle control. Isnt this bad on the belts? I'm sure there are upgrades...and like anything you can just fix it if it brakes.... SO really you just have to do what you like to do and have fun doing it. (which is clearly what you are doing)

Im sure it puts a little more wear on the belt than holdimg steady throttle at 25mph all day but im still in the original with no signs of excessive wear and have never had much problem with belts on previous machines

I have been riding Polaris ATVs since 1994. And unless something breaks in the clutch system there are typically no belt issues if you're not running around in high range trying to go slow.

Hell even my daily driver has a CVT.

I can't take the stuff with me when I go so I may as well enjoy it
