the leaf looker is what I dubbed Zachs new sxs. I just pictured him putting around looking up in awe with his skinny jeans and flat bill hat looking at leaves having a gay old time. Lmao

These are the other campgrounds that I could find near windrock. This sportsman one sounds interesting...
There have been discussions of where are we going to to stay floating around my group. So I know we will return to windrock sometime next year

Yes this would be roughing it. If we find someplace to stay on the North side of the park I will post it.
If we stay on the North side we still have to get passes. Closest places are
http://www.windrockpark.com/permits/
We can get permits in Rocky top, TN

only 400 acres, is there enough to keep us busy for a weekend? And looks like a horse park or something, I say we go back to Harlan. Been couple years since you guys were there Ben. Doesn't matter to me though

It used to be an exotic animal farm. But allowed ridding. Not sure if its got any animals now or not.

Its close proximity to swiss, could hit that too perhaps.

But thats kinda a pita for trailered rigs

Aop still looks cool to me. Its been sold and staying open
