I spit 2 caps on BOTH front axles comming down the rd. my spares had bad joints becuase I never got aroudn to changing, I mix and matched joints to make two good shafts wiht decent joints. put it all togather and the lLF unit bearing I used was for composite rotor and mine are steel. so with the wheel tight it bound the rotor into the uncle and locked the tire up. I had my highlift jack handle on the axle nut jumping on it and all I did was bend my breaker bar so I said screw it and came home.

Donnie spend $10 or $15 at the auto parts store and put new joints in the 2 spares you have that the unit bearings are good in,take a tap and die set clean out the threads in your unit bearings and bolts pack the holes and coat the bolts with anti seize, take a wire brush to the unit bearings coat them with anti seize. Then when you break them you can at least replace them.Check your unit bearings make sure they fit your Jeep.I would say those yokes were spread for a good while and didn't just happen going down the road.

There were only ten rigs or so there today. We ran the trails for 5 or 6 hours. It finally quit raining around noon.
